On Thursday September 10, 2009, the Hammond Fire Department was dispatched to this working structure fire on the 128 Lead Mine Road in the town of Rossie.  Hammond Fire Department recieved mutual aid from the Brier Hill Fire Department, Gouverneur Fire Department, Redwood Fire Department, Oxbow Fire Department and Morristown Fire Department in the form of pumpers, tankers and manpower to the scene.  The Alexendria Bay Fire Department and the Morristown Fire Department were also on stand bye at the Hammond Fire station.
